The Memorial in a dark lobby. Makes you feel something.
The Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Division 16, End of Watch Badge Memorial. This Memorial pays tribute to the 4 LAPD Officers killed in the line of duty from the Foothill station.
The very first Badge on Glass End of Watch Memorial, Art of Honor is humbled to know it was trusted with such a meaningful task as to create a memorial to their fallen Officers. Memorial was Designed and Built by Artist Timothy Lampros and Art of Honor.
Pictured with the Memorial are the Verna brothers, following in their Fathers foot steps as LAPD Officers themselves. Officer Paul Verna, EOW June 2, 1983. Pictured far left is LAPD Senior Lead Officer Michelle Rodriguez who is the very first Officer to ask Timothy Lampros to make a Police art piece. Thank you very much Michelle.
A very special Thank You for those few that made this project possible. LAPD Senior Lead Officer Michelle Rodriguez was the one with the vision and perseverance getting this project get off the ground. She is the one that saw it through. Station Captain Sean Malinowski (now a Commander with the LAPD) provided inspiration, direction and support to the project as well. Station Commander Joe Hilter, a 34 year veteran of the LAPD gave his support and guidance alone the way and with out his direction the project could not have happened -
